Broadhollow Road Hotel, LLC brings a transformative hospitality destination to Suffolk County with the opening of the Residence Inn by Marriott Melville. Completed in October 2025 with the support of the Suffolk County IDA, this $50 million project delivers a high-end, extended-stay hotel that enhances the region’s tourism landscape and supports the surrounding business community.
The 143-room, four-story Residence Inn sits on a three-acre parcel at 500 Broadhollow Road. The property replaces a long-vacant, 6,695-square-foot office building with a 106,016-square-foot hotel featuring an array of upscale amenities, including 620 square feet of meeting space, a fitness room, indoor pool, fire pit, putting green, and BBQ area. The hotel is expected to generate 32 permanent jobs and created over 500 construction jobs throughout its development.
Strategically located near Republic Airport, SUNY Farmingdale, and major employers such as Canon USA, Estee Lauder, and Henry Schein, the hotel serves both business and leisure travelers. The site also offers quick access to Bethpage State Park and downtown Huntington, two of Long Island’s top destinations.
Designed for flexibility and comfort, the Residence Inn by Marriott Melville offers studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites—all equipped with full kitchens and distinct living and workspaces. Guests enjoy complimentary breakfast, on-site laundry, business services, pet-friendly accommodations, and dining at the Gbar & Bistro. Chartwell Hotels manages the property, while the development team includes majority owner Giaquinto Management, along with Garone Management and George Tsunis.

To support the project, the Suffolk IDA approved a 15-year incentive package that includes up to $2.1 million in sales tax exemptions and $2.4 million in property tax abatements. Despite these incentives, the project significantly boosts local tax revenue. The site previously generated $26,000 in property taxes annually; today, it contributes over $100,000 in its first year alone, with projections exceeding $425,000 annually once the PILOT concludes.
